Femur Graphite Drawing
Graphite on A3 paper
This graphite rendering of a femur was created as part of a comparative anatomy study. This drawing is based off of one particular femur I had the unique opportunity to study and draw from in person while using tools such as a caliper to ensure accuracy. This piece depicts a highly detailed anatomical drawing focused on tone, proportion, texture, and surface anatomy.
Additionally, a labeled version of the same image has been developed for instructional use, highlighting key anatomical landmarks for educational settings such as classrooms, labs, or patient-facing materials.
These pieces emphasize clarity and precision while maintaining a hand-drawn aesthetic that supports both scientific accuracy and visual engagement.
